The ArcelorMittal Orbit is a 114.5-metre-tall (376 ft) sculpture and observation tower in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London. It is Britain's largest piece of public art and is intended to be a permanent lasting legacy of London's hosting of the 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games, assisting in the post-Olympics regeneration of the Stratford area. Sited between the Olympic Stadium and the Aquatics Centre, it allows visitors to view the whole Olympic Park from two observation platforms.

The highest drop water slider

Situated at the Águas Quentes water park outside the city limits of Rio, Kilimanjaro achieves its 164 fWatt prominence by being built into the side of a hill, rather than it being free-standing.  Not that it takes away from the experience, as sliders have hit speeds exceeding 57 miles per hour.

Kingda Ka is a steel accelerator roller coaster located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New JerseyUnited States. It is the world's tallest roller coaster, the world's second fastest roller coaster, and was the second strata coaster ever built. It was built by Stakotra, a subcontractor to Intamin.

The train is launched by a hydraulic launch mechanism to 128 miles per hour (206 km/h) in 3.5 seconds. At the end of the launch track, the train climbs the main top hat tower, reaching a height of 456 feet (139 m) and spanning over a 3,118-foot-long (950 m) track by the end of the ride.

Formula Rossa is a launched roller coaster located at Ferrari World in Abu DhabiUnited Arab Emirates. Manufactured by Intamin, Formula Rossa is the world's fastest roller coaster with a top speed of 239 km/h (149 mph).

Meet the world’s longest dog tail

You have to watch out when Keon the Irish wolfhound starts wagging his tail because it is a huge 76.8 cm (30.2 in) long. 


The friendly dog has broken the previous record for the Longest tail on a dog, held by a fellow wolfhound, by just over 4.5 cm (1.7 in).
